So the hubby called yesterday, first time in three weeks.... the news.... he has been extended on mission. Woohoo! Oh well we expected as much. Onto other news, last night my friend Amber came over with her baby bunnies because one of the babies eyes had swollen up tothe size of a marble... so at seven at night we were making an emergency vet run. The vet said they would be fine just a minor infection and to seperate the four bigger ones from the mother and the smaller ones. So I kept the small ones and Amber kept the bigger ones. This morning I wake up to two dead baby rabbits. At least we figured that would happen.
In other news our friend Ric got back from rehab for alcoholism the other day. Since the hubby and I don't drink much Ric asked to stay with us so he's not as tempted to drink. So I have a recovering alcoholic sleeping on my couch. No big deal, I asked the hubby about and he said it was fine.
In the rumor department Andie is spreading rumors that Brad and I are getting a divorce. I would just like to say I am sooooo glad that I'm still in high school apparently. The best part about it is as people start asking me about it and find out she's lying, all she's doing is alienating herself from everyone else. Still the final decision is to ignore it all. I just don't see the point of starting rumors.
So that's all that's new out here. Just taking one day at a time.

Crazy Night
So last night was a bit hectic and exhausting. Andie, yes Andie, called me at 2330 last night asking if I could take care of her daughter. It seems that her mother fell in the shower and broke her arm and Andie was at work. The first time I hear from he in two weeks was to do a favor a for her... why does that not suprise me. Her daughter is still a sweetie though. Unfortunately she woke up on the walk down to my house so she was up unti l 0430. I thought was going to start hallucinating pretty soon. So all in all I didn't get to sleep until 0530, so most of my day is ruined. However it did affirm my suspiscions that apparently the only time that's good to call us is in a crisis. You gotta love people like that. Well I better get my ass in gear and attempt to salvage the day.
Long Long TIme
Okay so I have been gone for a while but things have gotten a bit hectic. So here's an update.... The hubby suprised me with a German Shepherd puppy for Valentines Day. We named him Dica and he gets along wonderfully with our other dog Keona. We had a nice few months together inbetween deployments but now it is that dreaded season again. Deployment season. I will give it to the Navy for their efficiency though... THe Hubby got his deployment orders on a Friday afternoon and Monday at 6 am I was dropping him off at the airport. This one isn't so bad though, only a couple months. He'll be in for a bit and then gone again though. I'm just thankful it's not seven straight months like the last time.
So other random things that have happened is we seem to have lost our friend Andie... since I told her I couldn't take care of her daughter anymore. It wasn't her daughter at all, it was the hours Andie worked and it was starting to interfere with my marriage. Don't get me wrong I love kids and eventually want my own, but when you have a kid in your house for 300 plus hours a months and can rarely leave andeven have a date night it wears on you. The hubby and I had absolutely no us time and that wasn't fair to us especially with deployment season looming. So she doesn't talk to us anymore, which I think is shitty. She was willing to take the 300 dollar tv we gave her for free though since hers broke. I'm not kidding she took the tv on a Thursday and the last time she talked to us was Monday. Oh well. At least we learned early on about her character instead of later.
So I'm back to not working again. Which is driving me crazy. I did however pick up an appication at the NEX today and am going to fill it out in a little bit and hand it in tomorrow. Hopefully I can get back to work in a real job soon. Other than that I've spent a lot of time training the dogs, going for walks, researching posible new duty stations. All that fun stuff. Pretty soon the Hubby gets to negotiate for orders. I can't wait. It will be good to go somewhere new. So hope is well for all of you out in cyberspace. And I promise to give myself a good swift kick in the ass more to keep updating this!
